A Modern Rustic Riverfront Wedding in the Hudson Valley

Chelsea & Ryan

The Vision for The Wedding

Chelsea and Ryan’s wedding was thoughtful from the very beginning. They came to us during their venue search with a clear vision: modern rustic, but elevated wooden tables, lush greenery, some bright floral moments with string lights, and exposed brick, all designed to feel warm and fun. The goal was always refinement: beautiful and inviting. Hutton Brickyards made the perfect venue location as a base to build this vision.

About the Day At Hutton Brickyards

On the wedding day, personal touches anchored the celebration. Chelsea wore her mother’s wedding band an heirloom detail full of meaning. A joyful nod to Chelsea’s years in New Orleans came through in a second line from ceremony to cocktail hour: spirited, celebratory, and perfectly paced.

Design cohesion was a standout, with every detail intentionally tied together. KP Co Design Studio created custom invitations and day-of stationery, carrying the same artistic language throughout the weekend so the paper goods, florals, and even the cake felt like one edited story. Marcella Studio layered abundant greenery, fresh color, and a statement chuppah with unique blooms lush, elevated, and never overdone.

Chelsea’s gown by Berta, sourced from Tel Aviv, honored her Israeli roots, while Ryan wore a custom tuxedo by Michael Duru Clothiers. The culinary experience, especially important with Chelsea’s father in the restaurant business, was led by Swell Party, with open-fire cooking that brought warmth and energy to the reception. And for dessert, Lulu’s Cake Boutique in Scarsdale (Chelsea’s hometown favorite since her Bat Mitzvah) created a three-tiered cake in flavors that felt personal and nostalgic: coconut, chocolate raspberry truffle, and carrot.
