How They Met
Casey and Erik first met in college as next-door neighbors and close friends. After graduation, they both lived in Chicago, crossing paths only occasionally, before independently moving to New York City in 2020. They reconnected that August, and what began as easy time with mutual friends quickly turned into something unmistakable after one dinner together, it was clear they’d found their person. Erik later proposed at Wildflower Farms in the Hudson Valley, beside the river, an idyllic beginning to their next chapter.

Casey and Erik’s fall celebration was the definition of effortless romance: simple, relaxed, and understated, with a design that let the season and the scenery do the talking. We selected the perfect Hudson Valley wedding weekend venue for this to happen: Scribner’s Lodge in the Catskills.
Their wedding unfolded as a full weekend experience, beginning with a Friday night welcome party in Prospect Restaurant. On Saturday, guests gathered for a garden ceremony, transitioned into cocktails inside the Lodge, and then moved outdoors for dinner and dancing under the stars on the bluestone patio. The night wrapped up with an after-party in the library / restaurant areas in the Lodge.
